PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

Alan Nager joined NKF Consulting with over 24 years of experience in world class operations analysis, design, and improvement.  Alan is now the Managing Principal of our Operations Consulting business.

Mr. Nager co-founded Operations Associates (OA) in 1993 and was President of the firm until 2006.  OA received numerous awards including being named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies.  Previously a senior consultant to Fortune 500 companies at CRS Sirrine Engineers in their Advanced Technology Group, Mr. Nager also worked for Texas Instruments’ Defense Systems and Electronics Group in Dallas, Texas. 

Mr. Nager and his Operations Consulting group are an integrated part of our Project Management team. They collectively bring an enormous amount of experience, knowledge, and expertise to our clients, and provide them with a Single-Point-of-Accountability to manage change, reduce business risk, and speed time to value.  Our services benefit our clients by delivering end-to-end solutions to lower total operating costs for office, call centers, manufacturing, distribution, and service facilities.

Mr. Nager has industry experience in the Apparel/Textile, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Electronics, Retail Distribution, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Government and Services, Industrial Products, and Printing and Publishing industries.

EDUCATION:

Mr. Nager holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia and an M.B.A. degree from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas.
