PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

Mr. Stachowiak joined NKF Consulting with over 13 years of experience. He is a skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced corporate real estate professional. Mr. Stachowiak’s background includes location consulting, strategic real estate and incentive negotiations, labor, demographic, and industry-sector analyses, community evaluations, land and infrastructure assessments, operating costs and conditions modeling, researching and interpreting zoning ordinances, variance negotiation, and governmental affairs.

Prior to joining NKF Consulting, Mr. Stachowiak had a four-year stint with Cushman and Wakefield’s Global Location and Supply Chain Practice. He has participated in three commodity flow studies: two in the greater Chicago region and the other for a large industrial development in Denver, CO.

Other past experience includes serving as Senior Project Manager at Carter & Burgess in Fort Worth, TX where he sited over 10 million square feet of distribution center space nationally for large retail clients.  These projects resulted in over $650 million in capital investment, the creation of over 7,000 jobs, and $66 million of incentives from state and local government. Mr. Stachowiak was directly responsible for the location of eleven distribution centers, and involved in twenty-five other distribution center projects in varying degrees.

Manufacturing and distribution location engagements include clients such as Johns Manville, Alan-Pechinery, Novartis, WinCup, Anderson Windows, WRC Media, Office Depot, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Gap, and Kohls.

EDUCATION:

Mr. Stachowiak received his MBA from Texas Christian University. He also earned his Master’s of Public Affairs and Bachelor’s of Science degree from Indiana University at South Bend.
