As senior managing director of NKF Consulting, he manages consulting teams and client engagements for location strategy, real estate portfolio optimization, workspace demand forecasting, BPO sourcing, relocation planning and post-acquisition real estate portfolio integration. Mr. Ryder holds industry specific experience in financial services, business services, accounting, business process outsourcing, software & programming, and communications equipment.
In his initial role within NKF Consulting, Mr. Ryder was responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as the strategic direction of the firm's analytics group. The analytics group provided support to NKF Consulting's engagements through financial modeling, multi-criteria decision analysis, risk analysis, supply chain network analysis, business intelligence tools (including QlikView dashboards), ARGUS analysis and transaction support.
Mr. Ryder is the two-time recipient of NKF Consulting's Innovation Award (2006 & 2007) recognizing significant advancement in the firm's intellectual property through the creation of problem solving tools. The 2006 award recognized the creation of NKF Consulting's DeciMetrics application. DeciMetrics uses Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) to classify clients' unique operational criteria, identify areas of disagreement within the decision making teams, and evaluate and score potential operational strategies given the weighted criteria. To date, NKF Consulting has deployed DeciMetrics in over 50 client engagements. DeciMetrics was featured in Site Selection Magazine's Technology Toolbox review in November of 2007.
Prior to joining NKF Consulting, Mr. Ryder was a director within Newmark Knight Frank's Corporate Advisory Services Group, a CRE outsourcing service line. In this role, he managed corporate real estate portfolios for several multi-national companies. During his time in this role, Mr. Ryder executed over 70 leasing transactions in 23 countries.
